Dr Justin Lathlean is a marine ecologist whose research focuses on the thermal biology and demography of intertidal communities across broad to fine spatial scales. He is particularly interested in understanding how changing temperatures will alter the strength of species interactions and the impact this will have on ecological communities.

Dr Lathlean is currently lecturing at the University of New South Wales within the School of Humanities and Languages, where he teaches in the Masters of Environmental Management.
